Report CLE Credits

Annual CLE Requirement

CLE credits earned during the 2025 calendar year must be reported to KPACC by January 31, 2026.

  • Certified Kentucky Paralegals must earn a minimum of eight (8) credits of KPACC approved CLE activity annually, which must include two (2) CLE Ethics credits.*
  • CLEs must be submitted on the KPACC CLE Certificate of Attendance Form
  • All CLE submissions must include supporting documentation from the CLE sponsor verifying both accreditation and completion of the credit(s). This documentation must include the sponsor’s certificate of attendance and/or completion and must clearly show proof of attendance, credit eligibility, credit accreditation (Ethics or Non-Ethics), program duration or the number of credits awarded. Registration confirmations or program materials cannot be accepted as proof of completion, as they typically do not contain the required information.
  • If the CLE sponsor is a KPACC-approved sponsor and provides an Activity # or sponsor code verifying accreditation and attendance, you may list the Activity # on your KPACC Certificate of Attendance form in lieu of submitting the sponsor’s certificate. If this option is used, documentation from the sponsor verifying the Activity # or sponsor code must also be submitted for credit verification.
  • If you receive an email from KPACC requesting additional documentation to approve CLE submissions, all supplemental documentation for credits earned during the 2025 calendar year must also be received by January 31, 2026.
  • CLE credits reported each year in excess of the annual requirement are automatically carried forward into the two successive calendar years for purposes of satisfying the minimum requirements for those years.
  • Additional information on CLE requirements and credit standards are contained in Sections 9.01, 9.02, and 9.03 of the Policy.

*A CKP passing the CKP Exam administered in the Spring must earn a minimum of four (4) credits of KPACC approved CLE credits during the remainder of the initial calendar year of certification which must include one (1) CLE Ethics Credit.
