Although a few requirements have been highlighted above, CKPs must follow all program requirements found in the Certification Policy. CKPs are encouraged to stay up to date regarding all responsibilities outlined in the Certification Program Policy.
FAQs
Q: I'm not sure how many CLE credits I currently have. Can KPACC tell me how many credits I have? A: Yes. However, be aware a response may take 2-4 weeks. KPACC consists of 5 volunteers who must manually calculate CLE credits. This process can be time consuming as we perform a review of CKP records. Q: Can I see my CLE credit balance on the website? A: No. Not at this time. However, some major updates are in the works to bring CLE balances and submission to the digital age. Stay tuned! Q: May I carry over excess CLE credits? A: Yes. Carry over credits are outlined in Section 9.01(G) of the Certification Program Policy. Q: I won't be able to complete the required credits by the end of the year. May I request an extension? A: Yes. Extension requests for completing credits are outlined in Section 9 of the Certification Program Policy. The required form can be found here. Q: I won't be able to complete the membership requirement by the specified time. May I request an extension? A: Yes.
