KPA 2023 Paralegal Student Scholarship Committee Meeting

Each year, the Kentucky Paralegal Association awards a $1,000 scholarship to an outstanding KPA student member enrolled in a Paralegal Studies program. The recipient is recognized during the KPA Membership Meeting at the Annual Conference in November. The KPA is seeking volunteers for this year’s Scholarship Committee.

The first Committee meeting will be held via Zoom on Wednesday, May 31st, from 12:30-1:00 pm EDT, during which we will discuss the choice of an essay question and plan for finalizing the application. To volunteer, please complete the event registration form and we will add you to the Committee list and include you on future emails. If you are unable to attend the initial meeting, be sure to register for this event so that we will have your contact information for future meetings. 

Committee members will assist in finalizing the scholarship application, participate in the application review process, and will have the opportunity to meet the scholarship applicants face-to-face during the interview process. All Committee meetings and applicant interviews will be conducted virtually.

Committee participation is limited to KPA members. Student participation is limited to previous KPA Paralegal Student Scholarship recipients. Adjunct Members may join the initial meeting only and will not have voting privileges regarding eligibility guidelines or selection of the scholarship recipient.
